Now more than ever as we age it is so important to keep up your healthy mindset, suppleness and balance in your body especially over the age of 40. Therefore, Yoga is a holistic practice combining physical poses (asana) with mindfulness, breathing techniques, and meditation. The combination of these practices promotes functional mobility, self discovery and helps rebalance the nervous system.

Yoga over 40’s Senior to Seniors class – Tuesday’s 12 noon Dharma Shala
Our Yoga over 40’s Senior to Seniors class is taught by a Senior who understands the changes our bodies go through as we age. She is also a computer coach and has managed to maintain excellent health while working in a digital world. The class is focus is on the individual and is appropriate for those who need a class that suits their body rather than you suit the class. It will provide flexibility, mobility, strength, and balance through low-impact movement. Psychologically, it can help keep your mind sharp and increase positive emotions, mindfulness, and awareness of Self.
The Yoga class will consist of 1 hour of meditation of movement combined with gentle exercise and intertwined with the breath. Yoga Ayurveda Therapy with Zoe Campbell
Zoe lives Yoga and Ayurveda as a Therapy and has practised and studied since 1984 in Australia and India. She is a Yoga Therapist, registered with the AAYT. Yoga combined with Ayurveda is a complete practice (as traditionally taught). Zoe says, “Yoga is for every one – but sadly there are too few students from 40 years onwards in contemporary classes”. Zoe is a mother, a calls herself a hi-tech yogi / business owner. She is the founder of Bondi Yoga Therapy and Computer Coach Australia.
