Yoga Ayurveda Therapy private one-on-one
A private Yoga Ayurveda therapy therapy class is taught the traditional way - one-on-one. There are many benefits to combining Yoga and Ayurveda.
We work with each person who may be:-
- in the corporate world,
- working a job that is sapping energy,
- a holidaymaker,
- frazzled mom, dad or student
- experiencing menopausal symtoms
- recovering from surgery
- chronic pain and injury
- may be stressed
- recovering from an illness or injury
- any chronic condition
- or ageing adjustments to life
The list can be endless, as everyone no matter their age or condition will benefit from one-on-one Yoga Ayurveda therapy. Gently we guide you to connect with your body through the breath. Together we will develop a practice that is nurturing and specific to your needs.
Yoga Ayurveda therapy is different to a group class
Each person has unique needs and may not benefit going to a group class. Following a structured class may included exercises that can exacerbate your condition. In Yoga Ayurveda therapy we work with you very closely. We encourage you to listen to your body via the breath. You will learn what your body needs and how to work with it. We help you to understand your bodies strengths and weaknesses. You will learn how to bring this awareness into your daily life. Using the tools of Ayurveda we can listen to the internal body. All of the body, mind, digestive system, lungs, nerves etc are so important. A Yoga Ayurveda Therapist will work closely with you to teach you to create a smooth rhythm and flow.

Benefits of developing a personal practice
A yoga Ayurveda practice can be done in the morning upon waking and at night before going to bed. The practice is best done on an empty stomach. We see the cat and dog whenever they get up, have a stretch. Often during the day we can sit in confined postures for many hours. I mind can be going so much faster than your body and we need to learn to slow down before going to bed for a good nights rest. Moving and being still combined with the breathing is a powerful tool for living a healthy life. Understanding when we need to slow down or move is empowering. Together we will help you create a practice that grows with you in a serene place you can make your own, where you will not be disturbed so you can completely be at peace.
